Reading by Flurina followed by a short talk and conversation at the amphitheatre
In addition to her work as a visual artist, Flurina Badel is one of the best-known rhaetho-romanic writers. In the residency, Flurina has been researching and writing on a new multilingual recital. She will offer an insight into her literary work and an introduction to the rhaeto-romance language (one of the four official languages of Switzerland since 1938).
19:30 | Terrace
Presentation and conversation with Jeremie on climate histories
Based on research about tropical Dendrochronology (determining climate histories) and Mussels (in the zooarcheological context), Jeremie will talk about “Life as an Event” with the first chapter of his new work-in-progress video installation. In this project, an old carpenter from Panjim plays a central role and is the starting point of a longer journey going around the world.
